Dog Attack

Dog Attack – Looking for InformationLast night, I was bit by a large, beige pit bull (picture for reference) whilst walking home in North Bondi, the unprovoked attacked landed me in hospital due to the depth of the wounds. The owner, a 40-50 year old woman who fled the scene after she noted I was unable to walk and her parting comment being “well, what am I gonna be able to do about it?”. She was medium build, probably around 165cm and was walking a large pit bull, and a smaller black dog which could be a terrier or similar. She was walking down O’Donnell Street towards the Lemon Grocer, on the corner of Glenayr. Ive reported this to the police and the council but I’d love to know if anyone has seen or is familiar with this woman – not only has her dog injured me, but based on the response I don’t believe this will be the first or last time this could occur. Please be careful if you see this woman and her dogs around. It’s appalling to know that heartless humans like this are in our community, and her behaviour deserves consequences. If anyone has any information, please reach out as soon as possible!
